EOTech – Pioneering Holographic Weapon Sights

EOTech was founded in 1995 in Michigan. The brand originated from the Environmental Research Institute of Michigan (ERIM) to commercialize holographic sighting technology.

In 1996, EOTech introduced the first Holographic Weapon Sights (HWS)—compact and durable optics for small arms. The product line expanded over time to include magnified modules, rifle scopes, night vision and thermal devices, and the Vudu optics series.

Known for holographic reticle projection, fast target acquisition, and operational reliability, EOTech manufactures its optics in Michigan, while select precision optics (e.g., scopes) are produced in Japan.
